So, our section is discussing about planning a trip to some tourist spot in Hyd and the person who shared this idea also shared the fact that she was in no mood to study and was in sheer need of external motivation or a challenge for that matter.
So, our man, actually my batchmate from engg college, and one of the very few on campus who share the privilege of being called CLEAN SHAVEN in the true sense, sends out an email. And here's it.
" Design a sample to test whether we will reach Husain Sagar Lake by 8:30 PM. Will you use hypothesis testing or confidence interval? Explain. Use break-even study too. (We shouldn’t reach too late that we miss the boating – that will be a total waste. Try to quantify the cost of missing the boating thingy.). "
I am definitely sure that I will not be able to answer this question even if it comes up in the Stats paper with the relevant information. But, I can now imagine to what extent courses can influence people's minds that they come up with some of the weirdest questions.
