I am not sure, if it is because of Nityasree's voice. I am reminded of "Kannodu kanbadhellam" from Jeans, when I listen to this song.
maybe its the same raaga. coming to think of it, both sound very similar.
also, its partly evolutionary. a lot of GV's songs remind you of the way ARR composes.
